Hilton’s Waldorf Astoria and Conrad brands have announced upcoming openings in Marbella, Spain and the Algarve, Portugal
Hilton's luxury portfolio, which is inclusive of Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, LXR Hotels & Resorts, NoMad Hotels and Signia Hotels, has experienced unprecedented growth in recent months, with a strong pipeline across the EMEA region.
Conrad Meia Praia Algarve is a short drive from Lagos town and will feature 116 guest rooms and suites. All rooms will have a sea view, and seven of which will have private plunge pools.
Waldorf Astoria Marbella is set against the Mediterranean coast of Marbella, with 120 guest rooms and suites alongside 120 branded residences. The property will include a gym, multiple pools and ballrooms alongside access to a championship golf course originally designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. in 1994.
Conrad Meia Praia Algarve is slated to open its doors in spring 2027, whilst Marbella will welcome Waldorf Astoria Marbella in 2029, marking the brand's debut property in Spain. These openings mark a significant milestone for Hilton’s luxury expansion across the Iberian Peninsula.
