RateHawk, a B2B online booking platform, has reported an increase in the use of digital tools used by travel agents in the UK. The RateHawk app has over 130,000 downloads worldwide, which is a 47% increase from the previous year.
The RateHawk app offers a full range of services, such as hotel, flight, and transfer bookings, along with order management and access to customer support. It is free to use on both Android and iOS devices.
Chantal Tomlinson, head of business development in the UK and Ireland, said, “With often busy lifestyles, customers require quick responses to their travel enquiries and mobile technology allows travel agents to respond to this quick pace, plus manage their work easily from their smart phones. In the UK, every second partner, who regularly books accommodation with us, uses a mobile app, demonstrating strong demand for this technology in the region.”
