G Adventures has launched its first ever trip to Dominica, which spotlights a lesser-know side of the Caribbean
G Adventures is the first global adventure operator who has launched its style of trips to the island of Dominica in the Caribbean.
Joining G Adventures’ premium active Geluxe travel style, the trips feature upgraded experiences with a focus on physical activity, one-of-a-kind accommodation, elevated dining experiences and deeper connections to community and culture.
The 'Dominica: Waterfalls, volcanic Peaks & Kalinago Culture' itinerary has its first departure set for November, 2026. The eight-day adventure is based in Roseau and will have adventurers explore Dominica's diverse terrain, with visits to the iconic Trafalgar Falls and lesser-known falls such as the Middleham Falls. Inland adventures continue along the Indian River, to visit infamous film locations such as a mangrove-lined waterway which was featured in Pirates of the Caribbean. Fun activities for travellers include visiting the Kalinago Barana Aute model village, participating in traditional cassava bread-making, exploring local farms, and walk sections of the Waitukobuli National Trail. Prices lead in from £2,599 per person.
Yves Marceau, VP of Product at G Adventures, commented, “We’re incredibly excited to expand our Caribbean offering with Dominica and to shine a light on its incredible natural and cultural richness. By moving beyond the traditional cruise narrative, we’re helping travellers experience the island more deeply while ensuring tourism revenue reaches local and Indigenous communities.”
