Contiki has brought Uganda back to its portfolio as part of a new East Africa wildlife adventures collection for 2027
The leading youth travel brand for 18-to-35-year-olds is giving agents new opportunities to connect young travellers with Africa’s most iconic wildlife encounters.
Spaces are available to book now, with departures starting in May 2027.
The launch also features a new accommodation concept across Contiki’s East Africa trips, giving agents more flexibility to offer clients, whilst still sharing the same group travel experience.
The lead of the collection is the new ‘Best of Uganda, Kenya & Tanzania’ itinerary, which spans Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania, giving travellers the chance to see mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, rhinos, plus more on a range of safari experiences.
This 19-day tour covers a range of national parks for guests to see East Africa’s most celebrated wildlife experiences, whilst also taking travellers on a Nile cruise. Prices start at £6,025 per person inclusive of all accommodation, select meals and experiences, internal transport, as well as trip staff.
Other itineraries include the seven-night ‘Uganda: Gorilla & Chimp Trekking’, a shorter trip combining gorilla and chimpanzee trekking with game drives through national parks, a visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, and the chance to discover the source of the River Nile.
The new 11-day ‘Uganda, Gorillas & Maasai Mara’ itinerary shows travellers Africa’s most iconic safari destinations with extraordinary primate encounters in Uganda, before crossing into Kenya for game drives in the Maasai Mara with opportunities to spot more incredible wildlife.
