An interline agreement will see EVA Air connecting its flights to LAX, San Francisco, Sea-Tac and Chicago O'Hare with Southwest Airlines' national network across the US

The agreement will enable agents to book connecting flights on a single itinerary with checked-through baggage and a single ticket. All boarding passes will be issued at the initial departure point.

EVA Air's 89 weekly flights across the States and Canada (reaching 94 by the end of 2025) will be connectable with Southwest's 30+ destination roster.

Andrew Su, executive VP of EVA Air's America head office, said the partnership "positions EVA Air for long-term growth in an evolving market by combining resources with Southwest Airlines.

"Together, we're streamlining operations, connecting with a broader range of travellers, and responding more swiftly to changing market needs."
