The return of the Canada Strong Pass means travellers can make the most out of their trip to Nova Scotia with free admission to some of the region’s most iconic attractions

Running until September 7th, 2026, the Strong Pass offers free admission to national historic sites, national parks, and national marine conservation areas, as well as a 25% discount on camping and overnight accommodations at all participating Parks Canada locations.

Some of the experiences eligible for free admission include canoeing to Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site, exploring the historic forts of Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, and tackling one of the 26 hiking trails in Cape Breton Highlands National Park. The full list of attractions included in the Pass can be found here.

Anita Skibiel, UK senior account director for Tourism Nova Scotia, said, “The Canada Strong Pass opens the door to some of our most remarkable national parks and historic sites, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in our rich history, vibrant culture and spectacular scenery.”
