easyJet Holidays spotlights homeworkers in first-ever HOP event

The inaugural Homeworker Orange PowWow provided industry insights, expert panel discussions and supplier engagement, along with a host of holiday giveaways

150 homeworkers from across the UK joined the easyJet Holidays team, along with more than 20 hotel partners, earlier this week at St. George’s Park

With the spotlight shining on the summer season and the thriving lates market, the event provided homeworkers with insights into easyJet Holidays’ competitive value and wide range of product offerings to sell this season.

The agenda included presentations by the head of trade distribution, Natasha Marson; chief commercial officer, Paul Bixby; trade support manager, Sarah Moore; director at ABTA Lifeline, Trudie Clements; and the commercial product team at easyJet Holidays.

Also on the agenda were a series of panel debates, including a Leaders Panel with speakers from Designer Travel, Not Just Travel, Inspire Travel, and The Coop Travel, who discussed the industry landscape, customer insights and sales strategies; and an Agents Panel with insights from Travel Counsellors, Brilliant Travel, and Merlin Travel Group.

The event concluded with a supplier marketplace featuring more than 20 hotel partners, and a special raffle featuring a selection of package holidays to raise money for ABTA Lifeline.

Natasha Marson, head of trade distribution, said, “This event perfectly demonstrated the power of partnership. By bringing together homeworkers, suppliers and easyJet Holidays colleagues, we created a valuable forum for collaboration, learning and innovation at a pivotal point in the summer.”
