easyJet has announced the expansion of its Southampton Airport network, adding three new routes for next summer
New additions include routes to Malaga, La Rochelle, and Edinburgh, with fares from £32.48 available to book now.
A new route to the Spanish holiday hotspot of Malaga is set to operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, giving customers more options for their summer holiday on Costa del Sol.
The new service to La Rochelle will start on March 28th, operating on Tuesdays and Sundays, and gives guests the chance to explore the city’s rich maritime history, glowing white limestone architecture, and lively Atlantic atmosphere.
Strengthening its domestic connectivity across the UK with a daily Edinburgh service, easyJet will begin operating this route on March 28th.
Kevin Doyle, UK country manager at easyJet, said, “We’re delighted to be launching three new routes from Southampton Airport for summer 2027, continuing to provide customers in the south with more choice and connectivity from their local airport.”
easyJet holidays packages are now also available to book to Edinburgh and Malaga inclusive of flights, hotel, transfers, and baggage.
Chris Tibbett, executive director, commercial aviation and marketing at Southampton Airport, welcomed the additions.
“This will see the UK’s largest low-cost airline offer 11 routes from Southampton next summer, with the new additions joining existing summer services to Alicante, Barcelona, Belfast, Faro, Glasgow, Manchester, Paris Charles de Gaulle and Palma de Mallorca,” said Chris.
“The launch of a new daily service between Southampton and Edinburgh is particularly welcome, strengthening vital links between Scotland and England’s south coast.
“The route will support tourism, trade, investment and the cruise sector, while providing customers with greater flexibility, convenience and affordable fares.”
