Visitors from the UK made up over 700,000 of Dubai's 9.88 million international arrivals in the first half of the year
Dubai's H1 return marks a 6% increase against H1 2024, with UK visitation specifically up 13%.
Isaam Kazim, CEO of the Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, marketed as Visit Dubai, highlighted "public-private partnerships and the power of community" as two key drivers to the growth in the first half of this year.
"Dubai has become even more accessible, with a robust infrastructure and a business-friendly environment that fosters collaboration, while a year-round calendar of leisure, trade and MICE events have further diversified the city’s visitor base and generated significant economic impact."
Brightsun and JA Resorts & Hotels have both enhanced their Dubai options in recent months, hoping to entice travellers with a wider programme of travel options and free stopovers, respectively, with the former reporting a 37% increase in bookings to the Emirate.
