Vietnam Airlines has announced the launch of a historic nonstop route connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Copenhagen, starting December 15th, 2025

This will be the only direct air link between Vietnam and Denmark, significantly boosting travel and trade between Southeast Asia and Northern Europe.

The new route will operate three times a week. This route is expected to serve high demand for business, leisure, and family travel. It also strengthens Vietnam Airlines' strategic expansion into the Nordic market and broader Europe.

Dang Anh Tuan, executive vice president of Vietnam Airlines, said, “This new route not only deepens our European footprint but also affirms our commitment to global connectivity.”

Special return fares are available for the inaugural flight for bookings made by August 31st, 2025, starting from approximately £627. Discounts of up to 30% on extra services like baggage and seat selection will apply during the initial three-month launch period. Lotusmiles members will also enjoy bonus miles and free tier upgrades.

Departures between December 16th, 2025 and March 31st, 2026, lead in from approximately £708 return.

This move comes as part of Vietnam Airlines’ broader 2025 plan to open or resume 15 international routes to key destinations including Japan and the UAE, among others, aiming to welcome up to 23 million international visitors to Vietnam.
