Crystal announces new Prague extended land programme for 2020

Crystal River Cruises has unveiled its new ?Prague Discovery? extended land programme for 2020, meaning guests sailing on 2020 voyages aboard Crystal Ravel and Crystal Mahler can extend their holidays by exploring Prague.

The three-night immersive programme is offered pre- and post-cruise from Regensburg on voyages between Regensburg and Budapest and includes accommodation at the five-star Mandarin Oriental Hotel in the heart of the Czech Republic capital.

The tour also includes a half-day visit to Prague Castle, where guests get to explore areas of the palace and grounds that are not typically open to the public such as access to Rothmeyer and Spanish halls, the Rudolph Gallery, the Throne Hall, the Glass and Habsburg salons and the Golden Lounge. Guests can also visit the St. Vitus Cathedral, the Royal Palace and St. George Basilica.

A full-day inclusive excursion takes guests to UNESCO-listed Kutn? Hora, just east of Prague, known as the ?city of silver? and the ?national treasury? as it was the royal mint under King Wenceslas II of Bohemia. Today, its contemporary culture juxtaposed with its royal history make for a great day of exploration.

The cruise company offers guests the choice to make their 'Crystal Experiences'. The 'Prague Discovery' programme invites holidaymakers to 'Design Your Time' with optional tours exploring more specialised interests throughout the city. A visit to a Bohemian Old Town glass gallery and workshop allows guests to participate in one of the region?s most enduring traditions. They can also immerse into the deep Jewish roots of the city.

The new extended land programme is available for booking for ?1,230 per person and includes three nights of luxury accommodation, private transfer between the airport and hotel, group transfer between the hotel and the ship, and daily breakfast.
