CroisiEurope announces details of new Amazon-based luxury ship

Sunset over the Amazon River.

The as-yet-unnamed ship will host up to 32 guests when it sets sail in 2027, and marks the cruise line's first vessel to operate in South America

All 16 suites aboard will include balconies, with two upgraded presidential suites.

When it home ports in Manaus from 2027, the ship will sail 12-day itineraries along the Brazilian Amazon. CroisiEurope has confirmed that bookings will open soon.

A gourment restaurant serving dishes inspired by the ship's home in Brazil, a fitness room, a spa, sun deck and conference room will all be on offer on board, too.

The cruise line has committed that the vessel's engine will adhere to "the strictest environmental standards," also promising sustainable measures like advanced wastewater treatment and solar panels to limit generator operation at night.

Shore excursions will aim to support local initiatives and protect local biolife.
