The world’s leading travel brand for 18–35-year-olds is expanding its active trips portfolio with the launch of new small-group tours in Nepal
The new itineraries are designed for travellers that seek bucket-list adventures without the logistical stress. The launch of the Nepal itineraries coincides with a notable demand for hiking-focused trips among Contiki’s audience. Two-thirds of respondents in the same survey named hiking their top type of active trip, with nearly one-fourth of respondents naming Nepal as a top destination for this type of travel.
The 16-person small-group itineraries aim to showcase Nepal’s most iconic landscapes.
The ‘Kathmandu, Chitwan & Hiking’ itinerary is a 10-day adventure of Nepal’s capital, Chitwan National Park, and hilltop hikes. Based on two people sharing, the experience is priced from £1,105 per person with a departure of October 16th 2026.
Kelly Jackson, Managing Director, Contiki EMEA said, “We’re seeing a real shift in how Gen Z and millennial travellers define a great holiday. For more than half of our 2025 Voice of a Generation respondents, a mix of experiences on holiday isn’t a ‘nice to have’ — it’s essential.”
