CLIA’s annual river conference, RiverView, has hit a record-high agent and cruise partner attendance, alongside new event and training announcements
With 600 attending agents, and a record-breaking number of attending cruise partners, CLIA’s 2026 RiverView conference is one to be remembered.
The event returned to Amsterdam, which previously hosted in 2024, and was joined by celebrity cruiser Susan Calman as part of the conference business sessions.
Delegates attended a networking trade fair with training workshops. In addition, eight operators had ships moored for agents to visit and stay on. Such ships include Emerald Cruises’ Emerald Luna, Riviera Travel’s Geoffrey Chaucer, and Amadeus River Cruises’ AMADEUS Riva.
During the event, CLIA announced the return of its one-day River Cruise Forum in Manchester, which will offer business sessions, networking, and product training. Representatives from river cruise operators and associated partners will help lead the sessions.
CLIA has also announced a new initiative, ‘Opportunity Docks’, which launches this month for all agent members. The new online platform will make videos available on topics such as Cruise brands and ships, destinations and itineraries, and key people from the industry.
CLIA stated that a limited number of tickets are available for its annual conference, which this year takes place from June 4th to June 6th 2026, and will include business sessions, a networking trade fair, ‘Sailaway’ party and ship visits.
