The partnership, which was agreed at Arabian Travel Market, will promote the emirate as a key destination in Celestyal’s offering to further establish the cruise line’s presence in the Arabian Gulf
This news follows Celestyal’s announcement earlier this month where the cruise line partnered with Abu Dhabi to further position the destination as a key location for Celestyal’s guests after a successful debut season in the region.
Following that success – where bookings exceeded targets by 35% – Celestyal will return to the region with two ships in December where it will call weekly to Ras Al Khaimah across the winter season for the next three years.
Celestyal Discovery will homeport in Abu Dhabi from December 12th, 2025, where she will sail on three-, four- and seven-night ‘Iconic Arabia’ cruises with calls to Doha, Ras Al Khaimah and the coastal port of Khasab, Oman. Guests can also stop off in Dubai and Sir Bani Yas Island on seven-night sailings. Prices lead in from £698 for two people on a four-night cruise.
Lee Haslett, chief commercial officer at Celestyal, said, “We’re proud to build strong partnerships with the regions we visit, and are thrilled to enhance our award-winning shore excursion programme by working with the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority. Together, we’ll offer our guests even more immersive and culturally rich experiences.”
Iyad Rasbey, vice president – destination tourism development at RAKTDA, commented, “Our partnership with Celestyal underscores a powerful alignment of vision and values […] by combining our strengths, we will deliver unique, experiential offerings that elevate Ras Al Khaimah’s position as a premier destination on the global cruise map.”
