Celestyal launches 190 new Mediterranean shore excursions

Celestyal has unveiled 190 new Mediterranean shore excursions for its winter programmes

The launch includes 118 excursions for the new Western Mediterranean programme aboard Celestyal Discovery, sailing winter 2026/27 and 2027/28, as well as 72 excursions aboard Celestyal Journey for its winter 2027/28 Eastern Med voyages.

The experiences are available to book now, ranging from half-day, full-day, and two-day options, in addition to 27 new ‘Authentic Encounters’, aimed at providing experiences with local people and attractions in smaller groups.

Guests can save 15% on all excursions on Celestyal Discovery’s new 2026 Western Med programme booked before September 30th.

The programme also introduces ‘Community Connections’, a new offering designed to take guests beyond traditional sightseeing by connecting them with local communities that bring each destination to life.

Janet Parton, vice president of marketing, PR and customer experience at Celestyal, said, “For us, an authentically Mediterranean experience has always been about much more than simply arriving in a destination and seeing its most famous sights.

“It’s about meeting the people who live there and understanding the traditions that have shaped it.”

Highlights of the offering include a journey on the historic Greek mountain railway from Volos, a tour from Malaga into rural Andalucía to visit an olive mill before a traditional five-course lunch, an ‘Artisan Cheese Tour & Workshop’, and a private flamenco and tapas experience in Cádiz.

Prices for seven-night winter Mediterranean cruises lead in at £419 per person, including meals, soft drinks, Wi-Fi, port feed, and gratuities. This is part of Celestyal’s current ‘Uncrowded, Unforgettable, Authentically Med’ campaign, which runs until November 2nd.
