“Australia has always been on my bucket list. Even as a little girl, it felt like a place that was calling to me. In September 2019, I finally took the leap, leaving my job behind to travel and live in Australia on a working holiday visa.”
Adventure of a lifetime
“I began my adventure in Sydney, spending two incredible weeks exploring the city. Sydney is beautiful and vibrant, with iconic landmarks, great shopping, easy transport, and of course, the famous Bondi Beach. I highly recommend visiting the Blue Mountains and completing the Coogee to Bondi coastal walk – both are unforgettable experiences.”
“From there, I travelled up Australia’s iconic east coast, spending a few nights in each destination before moving on. My journey included Bondi Beach, Surfers Paradise, Brisbane, Noosa, Rainbow Beach, K’gari, the Town of 1770, Airlie Beach, the Whitsundays, Magnetic Island, Mission Beach, Cairns, and Innisfail. Each place has its own charm, but the Whitsundays stood out for the stunning landscapes, crystal clear water, and diverse wildlife. Sadly, my adventure was cut short after six months when Covid-19 brought me home early. However, Australia has left a lasting impression.”
