Bookings now open for Aqua Expeditions’ Arctic Circle sailings

Aqua Lares in the ice-covered sea

From May 30th, 2026, guests will embark on a range of five- to 14-night expeditions through Svalbard and the Arctic Circle, with dual-destination options combining the Arctic with the Scottish Isles

Aqua Lares will carry out the itineraries: the only superyacht in the Arctic Circle to offer both private charters and individual cabin bookings.

“With Aqua Lares, we’re redefining what it means to explore the farthest frontiers. It’s not just about getting there; it’s about experiencing these wild places up close in a way that feels both deeply personal and effortlessly luxurious,” said CEO Francesco Galli Zugaro.

The sailings with depart from either Longyearbyen or Tromsø, before heading into regions few vessels can reach. Guests will visit whaling outposts, bird cliffs, and have the chance to take the Zodiac into the sea ice in search of polar bears, walrus’ and bearded seals. There will also be ample opportunities to spot humpback, sperm and minke whales, as well as time to walk the tundra under continuous daylight to see arctic foxes and reindeer.

Prices lead in from $10,150 per person for a five-night itinerary with double occupancy.

To bookend the Arctic season, Aqua Expeditions is offering two dual-destination sailings, from 9- to 14-nights, which combine Svalbard and the Arctic Circle with the Scottish Isles. Guests will depart from Glasgow before exploring Iona, Staffa, St. Kilda, the Isle of Lewis, and the Shetland Islands, before heading north.
