Bahia Principe launches rewards programme for UK travel agents

Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts has launched the brand?s travel partner loyalty programme, Bahia Principe Rewards, in the UK.

Bahia Principe Rewards, designed for travel professionals who seek to stay abreast of the latest brand news, offers trade partners invaluable information and tools to provide their clients with well-planned holidays. The programme allows daily reporting to manage bookings, updated information on all hotels, and special discounts on travel rates. 

The rewards system operates on a points structure with agents receiving points for each room night sold, regardless of the length of stay.  They are then able to multiply these points with special promotions.  Agents can also participate in sales rankings which will recognise them on a bi-monthly basis and top-performing partners will be eligible to win exclusive gifts.

To encourage new travel partners to join the programme, the hotel group is offering a 1,000-point bonus for new registrations.  Agents can also collect more points when participating in the e-learning course (200 points) or securing referrals (150 points). 

For the UK market, the hotel brand is running a special promotion giving double points on all hotels booked from December 2018 to February 28, 2019 (for travel up to October 31, 2019).  Triple points will also be earned on bookings for Fantasia Bahia Principe Tenerife, Fantasia Bahia Principe Punta Cana and Grand Bahia Principe Aquamarine on various bookings windows in 2018 and 2019.  This promotion is valid for individual, MICE, weddings and group reservations.

The brand recently classified its properties into four categories: Luxury Bahia Principe, including the brand?s most luxurious hotels; Grand Bahia Principe, featuring five-star hotels; Sunlight Bahia Principe, for all Spain-based properties; and Fantasia Bahia Principe, a family-friendly concept that offers thematic hotels.
