The Australian operator is evolving its product offering with the introduction of its new Small Group tours launching for the 2026/2027 season
The Small Group offering will have an average of 16 to 24 guests per tour, offering a more intimate all-access experience. The shift in style follows agent feedback and recent research from the trade.
14 new Small Group tours have been added to the operator’s portfolio, including new on-tour activities and nine new MAKE TRAVEL MATTER experiences. Some of the highlights of the new collection include a nine-day ‘Tropical Queensland’ tour from Brisbane to Cairns, and the 10-day ‘New Zealand’s Northern Gems’ tour from Wellington to Auckland.
Both of AAT Kings’ tour types – Small Group and Classic Tours – offer guests a seamless blend of exploration, unique adventures and comfort across Australia and New Zealand. Travellers can enjoy 10% savings on select 2026/2027 Classic or Small Group tours when booked before September 30th, 2025.
Ben Hall, AAT Kings Group CEO, said, “Our 2026/27 season hands you the keys to curate your own extraordinary holiday experience with many moments that surprise and delight. Guests asked for deeper local stories and more flexibility, so we’re rolling out Small Group and Classic Group departures from Tasmania to the Kimberley and right across New Zealand.”
