AAT King expands MAKE TRAVEL MATTER Experiences

The MAKE TRAVEL MATTER Experiences will be featured in 95% of the operator’s tours, offering guests the opportunity to gain in-depth insights into the local communities and cultures of the destinations they visit

Some of the new experiences for 2027/2028 include the Menindee Lakes and Kinchega National Park, featured on the nine-day ‘Outback New South Wales Adventurer’ tour, where guests will join a local Indigenous guide to learn about Barkindji culture; and the Ōamaru Penguin Conservation Centre, featured on the nine-day ‘Southern Wonders’ itinerary, where guests will be introduced to native penguins on a guided colony walk.

Ben Hall, AAT Kings Group CEO, said, “Travel can be a powerful force for good, but it's also about creating a richer experience for the traveller.  When you meet the people protecting a native species, learn directly from local communities or hear the stories and traditions that have shaped a place, you come away understanding far more about the destination.

"For travel agents, it's a powerful story to share with customers who increasingly want to know that their holiday can support the places they visit while giving them experiences and stories they'll remember long after they return home."

The AAT Kings Early Booking offer will continue until September 30th, 2026, offering savings of up to £650 per person on 2027/2028 bookings.
