After the Grand Egyptian Museum opened its doors at long last at the beginning of November, Red Sea Holidays guests can now book excursions in-resort to visit
Excursions combine entry into the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to thousands of ancient Egyptian artefacts, including some never shown to the public before, with stops at the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx, a traditional lunch and a papyrus or perfume workshop.
Excursions start from £250 per person and can be booked in-resort. More details on the excursions have been published via the Red Sea Holidays Trade Page on Facebook.
The Grand Egyptian Museum was first announced in 1992, with construction commencing in 2005. Total construction costs neared £1 billion.
