The operator's sales in Scotland and the North of England have grown by 35% against 2024, far outperforming national sales; a new national account manager has been appointed to help support the trade
National sales are up around 20%, proving that demand in the North and Scotland is gaining momentum above its nearby national markets.
To support the growth in sales, Wendy Wu Tours has announced that, from October, a dedicated BDM will handle relationships in both Scotland and the Northwest. This region has previously been managed by a single representative, with the move promising more shop visits, training, events and tailored campaigns.
Sandra Foreman will step up as Wendy Wu Tours' first-ever national account manager, bringing six years of experience with the brand. Sandra will lead the BDM team in supporting key accounts nationwide.
Gary King, head of trade sales, said of Sandra's new role, "By splitting the North and Scotland, creating specialist BDMs, and appointing a National Account Manager in Sandra, we’re putting the trade first and giving every agent the time, tools, and tailored campaigns they need to succeed.
"Without our trade partners, there is no Wendy Wu Tours. Agents have fuelled the biggest growth in our history – and this expansion is for them, by them. A bigger team means more support, and more support means more sales."
