50 itineraries will sail aboard two ships in Princess Cruises' biggest-ever Japan season
Those itineraries range from seven to 28 nights and will depart between March and December 2027.
Gus Antorcha, Princess Cruises' president, announced the record deployment. "Our story in Japan has deepened over time and experience and in 2027, we return promising unforgettable experiences, including the renowned Cherry Blossoms, seven spectacular festivals and journeys that immerse you in the awe and wonder of this destination."
Two Japanese-built sister ships, Diamond Princess and Sapphire Princess, will return home for the entire season, homeporting in the Tokyo region. Both can carry up to 2,670 guests.
Several voyages are timed to trace the Cherry Blossom season as it blooms across all four of the nation's main islands from south to north, along with festive options tied to certain summer celebrations.
Sales open on the full 2027 roster on August 20th, 2025.
