Allan Lambert, head of retail sales said: ?Butlins anticipates being fully booked over the Easter period once again, following on from a sell out February Half Term. The trend for holidaying at home that began last year has continued into 2010 and our breaks are selling out faster than ever across the three seaside Resorts. Overall Butlins is experiencing a 10% increase in occupancy rates which we attribute to the continual investment in the quality of our entertainment and activities such as Brainiac Live! And Guinness World Records Live! along with TV favourites from Britain?s Got Talent and the X Factor which are all available over the Easter period.

?Our Haven brand is performing equally well, with the company seeing a 51% increase in Easter holidays over the last five years. Easter is rapidly catching up with the summer as the most popular time for families to get away on holiday.

?Butlins and Haven are seeing a huge increase in both families and couples opting for short breaks, often at the last minute, as there is a resurgence of customers taking more breaks throughout the year. To highlight this, Haven has seen an increase of 20% in its four night short break durations year on year.?

There is still limited availability over the Easter holidays at Butlins and Haven.

Haven is even rewarding travel agents with a ?5 High Street Voucher for every booking made for the Easter weekend, April 2.

Agents can claim a voucher for new 3 and 7 night Easter bookings made between now and April 1 in any accommodation grade.

The site specialises in mainland Spain, the Balearics, Canaries and US and operates an independent trust account, where registered agents are able to choose net prices or decide on their own percentage mark-up.

Accommodation vouchers will be printable at the time of booking and a management system for invoicing and an xml feed is also available.

The company?s operations director, Paul Lusher, said: "In some cases agents will be able to mark-up by 35% on deals and still be selling cheaper than anyone else.

"We have done the comparisons; we do not claim to be cheaper everywhere, but in Spain and its islands as well as the US, we have a very competitive edge."
