WTTC launches Safe Travels Stamp across Eswatini

The stamp has been awarded to 12 properties to recognise their internationally-recognised standards of health and safety.

The World Travel & Tourism Council's new seal of approval was created to recognise accommodations that commit to upholding international standards of health and safety to reduce the risk of COVID-19.

12 properties across the Kingdom of Eswatini have been given the Safe Travels Stamp, following a multitude of steps to help cement Eswatini's reputation as a safe and welcoming destination as worldwide travel begins to recover.

Eswatini was the first country in southern Africa to be awarded WTTC's Safe Travels Stamp following the robust COVID-prevention protocols established by the Eswatini Tourism Authority in conjunction with the Eswatini Ministry of Health, the World Health Organisation and the UN.

The following resorts join the original recepients announced in late October: Hilton Garden Inn Mbabane, Royal Villas, Happy Valley Hotel, Sonzelas Backpackers, The George Hotel, Simunye Country Club, Reilly?s Rock Guest House, Damicha Lodge, Mantenga Lodge, Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, Veki?s Village, Mountain Inn Hotel, Kamsholo Bushveld Safaris, and Hlane Royal National Park.
