The intimate camp in Botswanas Linyanti Wilderness Reserve offers tented suites and the chance to spot the wealth of wildlife throughout the reserve.
Wilderness Safaris has announced the opening of the newly rebuilt and renovated DumaTau Camp, and Little DumaTau, a smaller sister of the main property.
Situated in northern Botswana's Linyanti Wilderness Reserve, the two new camps are situated over Osprey Lagoon, with perfectly situated views of the camp's wealth of wildlife, including the mega-herds of elephant.
Upgrades to the new camp include separate pools, an extended deck with plunge pool, awnings to offer poolside shade at each of DumaTau's eight tented suites, and Little DumaTau's four identical suites.
Kim Nixon, Wilderness Safaris Botswana managing director, commented: ?We?re proud to have this chance to continue to highlight the importance of the Linyanti as a conservation area, and to invite guests to experience it and its prolific wildlife. As they do so, they?ll be adding their own stories to the collective narrative of one of Botswana?s most remarkable regions. In the new DumaTau, this area now has a camp that is worthy of its setting, and which forms the ideal location for making memories."
The food offerings across the camps is based on locally-sourced seasonal ingredients, with produce sourced from local suppliers to acknowledge the importance of sustainability for Botswana and the world's ecosystems.
Guests to the new camps can enjoy customised spa experiences as part of the destinations 'restorative safari' mission, combining Botswana's expansive landscapes with intimate comforts to let guests recharge.
Night rates at DumaTau start from ?1,017 per person, based on two sharing.
