Head of trade sales Gary King noted a "dramatic surge in bookings" after the BBC show made its way back onto our screens, adding that the 'Wanderlust Sale' is the operator's "way of rewarding our customers and making these dream destinations even more accessible."
The sale features savings of up to £1,000 on a collection of Wendy Wu Tours' most popular escorted options across Japan, China, Southeast Asia, India, and Sri Lanka until July 1st, 2024.
Select options in South America, Central Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East are also discounted during the same period.
Race Across the World has fuelled a 52% increase in bookings for Japan, with the operator adding 17 new departures for autumn to account for the impressive show of demand. The Japanese cherry blossom season next year is nearing capacity.
Gary continued, "It’s clear that viewers are looking for the security and enriching experiences that our fully inclusive tours provide.
"These offers provide exceptional value, allowing travellers to explore the must-see sights and hidden gems of Asia with the assurance of our award-winning guides. As the series has shown, the allure of Asia is only growing, and we encourage everyone to book now to secure their spot on these unforgettable journeys."
South Korea has also seen impressive spikes in demand courtesy of the hit show; the 'Essence of South Korea & Japan' tour has climbed the ranks of the operator's most popular options.
