Virgin Voyages' fourth ship slated for September 2025 debut

Brilliant Lady will hit the high seas next year, taking to North America for its maiden season.

Sir Richard Branson promised the ship will live up to its name and "be brilliant in every possible way," noting the new ports of call its deployment in North America will enable: including New York, Los Angeles and Alaska.

The cruise line's CEO, Nirmal Saverimuttu, added: "Brilliant Lady will not disappoint... we’ll always challenge ourselves to keep things fresh and exciting, and that starts with expanding into extraordinary new destinations, while simultaneously inviting new artists, chefs, and musicians to enhance that quintessential Virgin vibe."

The ship's maiden season comprises a series of New York City voyages ranging from five to 13 nights, kicking off on September 5th, 2025: it will sail from Manhattan and call at Quebec City, Bermuda, Maine, Charleston, Boston, Halifax and New Brunswick depending on voyage length.

From October 2025, the ship will homeport in Miami for its winter season, sailing 17 voyages betwen seven and 12 nights in length, on to Los Angeles from April to May 2026 and Seattle from May to September 2026.
