The six new voyages will range from 15 to 22 days and continue to offer guests exclusive access to rarely-visited ports through Japan and China in 2025
Guests will visit destinations including Shanghai, Beijing, Xi’an and Lhasa in Tibet, and Osaka. Each voyage will offer guests immersive destination-focused experiences, dedicated lectures and locally-inspired dining.
Bookings are now open for the new sailings which will operate from September to November 2025 on the Viking Yi Dun vessel. The itineraries include the 15-day ‘Jewels of Japan & China’ voyage from Beijing to Tokyo; the 20-day ‘Classic China Discovery’ from Hong Kong to Beijing; and the 22-day ‘2025 Wonders of China’ roundtrip from Beijing.
Torstein Hagen, chairman and CEO of Viking, is “proud to open our second season of these unique itineraries featuring exploration of the China coast – something that is entirely exclusive to Viking,” and is “looking forward” to introducing more “curious travellers” to Asia.
