UK scraps remaining Covid-19 travel restrictions

Passengers will no longer have to complete a locator form or test upon arrival in the UK.

Previous measures, such as all arrivals completing a Passenger Locator Form and tests for unvaccinated arrivals, have been scrapped as of 4am on March 18, 2022.

Contingency measures may be implemented, such as targeted testing upon the detection of new variants.

Transport Secretary Grant Shapps said: "I said we wouldn't keep travel measures in place for any longer than necessary, which we're delivering on today - providing more welcome news and greater freedom for travellers ahead of the Easter holidays."
