Two-million transatlantic flyers for Aer Lingus

The airline reached its two-million transatlantic passenger benchmark on a service to Florida this week.

In response to the milestone, the airline's chief customer officer, Susanne Carberry, said: "This represents a significant milestone for Aer Lingus, following our largest ever transatlantic schedule this summer.

"Over the past 10 years we have grown our transatlantic network from 6 routes to 19 in 2023, including adding new direct services from Manchester to North America."

This summer's schedule marked Aer Lingus' largest-ever, with over 2.25 million North American service seats on offer across 19 direct routes from the UK.
