Tunisia updates entry requirements

All arrivals to the North African destination must now take a PCR test less than 72 hours before travel.

In line with shifting travel restrictions worldwide, Tunisia has announced new requirements for its arrivals.

All travellers, included those fully-vaccinated against COVID-19, must complete a PCR test less than 72 hours before travel, and present a dated test certificate with a QR code upon check-in at their departure airport.

Negative test result certificates must be handed over by passengers to the health services at the thermal checkpoint upon arrival at Tunisian airports.

Children under 12 are exempt from the test and certificate mandate.

These rules came into effect from July 1, 2021, however, passengers arriving on charter or scheduled flights as part of inclusive tours, who are fully vaccinated, are only required to comply with these restrictions from July 10, 2021.
