Trade-friendly transfer provider secures US$10 million funding

With a suite of investors seeing promising signs from Daytrips early activity, the private transfer provider will further develop the platform in new markets and establish strategic partnerships with a roster of industry leaders.

Daytrip offers private door-to-door transfers with English-speaking drivers in some of the world's most scenic transfer routes, including inter-city routes.

Routes across more than 110 countries are on offer through the platform.

Mitch Yang, a managing partner at Taiwania Capital (the leader of the Series B investment of US$10mn), said the round of funding "demonstrates our (Tairwania Capital's) strong belief in Daytrip's mission and potential to reinvent the travel experience."

Trade guarantees

Daytrip's travel agent portal offers over 40,000 routes and 24/7 support, offering a 5% discount on all bookings and instant commission payouts.

Markéta Bláhová, co-founder and COO of Daytrip, explained that the rising trend appears to be travellers "willing to spend their money on unique travel experiences" and that "Daytrip is ready to help them achieve that," with agents well-equipped via the trade platform to capitalise on both demand and Daytrip's offerings.
