The tour marketplace's new site features a dedicated section for agent sign-ups, streamlining trade access to its personalised experiences in over 174 countries across the world.
Part of a wider refresh, the new sites put the local guides behind ToursByLocals experiences at the heart of the brand. The trade upgrades aim to connect with agents searching for tailor-made private tours for clients.
Lisa Chen, the platform's CEO and president, said ToursByLocals is "poised to accelerate our exceptional growth in the tours and activities sector.
"We knew it was time for an updated technology platform with a fresh look and feel that reflects our commitment to the once-in-a-lifetime experiences and memorable moments that we help to create around the world every day."
Since its inception, ToursByLocals has sent 2.5 million travellers on private tours. Recent data puts Japan and the USA at the top of Brits' travel tastes, with Japan alone making up 20% of bookings on the platform. The USA comes second with 8% overall.
550 UK agents are already registered on the ToursByLocals trade platform, with a guaranteed 5% commission on every booking or referral and 10% after reaching 'elite' status.
