Tourism Australia relaunches Aussie Specialist programme

The training, which is run in conjunction with Australias State and Territory Tourism organisations, has been enhanced with a new look and more interactive modules.

To make it easier for agents across the world to perfect the skills they need to sell and promote Australia, Tourism Australia has relaunched its Aussie Specialist training programme.

With a new look and feel for its 32nd year, the programme offers wider personalisation, faster qualifying times and shorter, more interactive training modules.

Tourism Australia's managing director, Phillipa Harrison, said: ?Australia remains one of the most desirable travel destinations in the world and the Aussie Specialist Programme helps to ensure we will be in the best possible position to convert travel demand into bookings as soon as borders re-open."

?We now have more than 26,000 qualified Aussie Specialists worldwide and hope the new programme will allow more agents to complete their learning so they too can best sell Australian tourism experiences.?

On November 16, 2021, Tourism Australia will host the inaugural Australia Global Summit, where all Aussie Specialists and distribution partners are invited to a three-hour online event to hear from keynote speakers and learn the latest on the destination.
