Tourism Australia invites event planners around the globe to a curated programme of live virtual travel experiences of Australia from May 15-17.
The initiative from Australia?s national tourism agency, Live from Aus will deliver more than 24 hours of inspiration, education and entertainment across the two days, with the content debuting each hour from 10 PM (GMT+1) Friday until 12 PM on Saturday and from 9 PM Saturday to 12 PM on Sunday.
It will include a range of travel experiences highlighting the country?s culture, natural beauty, food and drink, wildlife and the Australian personality.
From wine tasting and cheese making to the waters of the Great Barrier Reef, the shores of Kangaroo Island, the doors of MONA and evenings at Uluru and the Sydney Opera House, alongside a dinner party with Matt Moran and friends, the program of live events kicks off from 10PM (GMT+1) on May 15.
Tourism Australia managing director, Phillipa Harrison, said: ?The broadcast and digital activation hopes to keep event planners inspired and engaged for when it?s safe to travel again. Our goal is keeping Australia front of mind for event planners by using this enforced period of self-isolation to engage with people and inspire them to plan for travel again.?
The Live From Aus programme will be hosted by an array of Australian personalities, advocates and industry operators who will present a range of interactive experiences, including cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, exercise classes, cultural immersion sessions, Australian wildlife encounters, and a live music program presented by Sounds Australia.
The Live from Aus programme was released on May 8 on www.australia.com
