Titan Travel confirms its move to CAA-approved trust accounting

Titan Travel has moved to trust accounting with the Civil Aviation Authority as of September 25.

Administered by an independent trustee, the terms of the trust provides assurance that all money from new and existing bookings will be held securely and will generally not be transferred to Titan until the customer has returned from holiday.

Andy Squirrell, managing director at Titan Travel, commented: ?While customer money has always been 100% secure with Titan, moving to trust accounting will provide agents and their clients with additional financial reassurance when booking a holiday with us.?

In the event Titan is unable to operate a scheduled tour all funds will remain intact and will be used to refund travellers as required.

Overseen by the Civil Aviation Authority, Titan?s trust accounting is only available on holidays that include a flight. Titan?s UK short breaks and no-fly cruises will not be included in the scheme, but will continue to be ABTA-protected.
