Titan to restart holidays in February 2021

Titan will restart all land tours, plus river and ocean cruises, from February 1, 2021.

Clients affected by the cancellation of trips can receive up to ?100pp off, on a rebooked tour, departing before January 31, 2022. Agents with clients affected by the extended suspension of Titan's tours will be contacted by a member of the sales team, explaining the next steps.

The travel company has introduced the Peace of Mind policy, to provide travellers due to depart before February 2021, with the option to postpone their departure, or transfer it to another holiday, departing before 31 January 2022; subject to availability, and without any cancellation or amendment fee.

The Protection Promise policy includes a commitment to cleanliness and safety procedures, with fully trained tour managers on every tour, who will prioritise guests? safety. If Titan cancels any scheduled tour, affected travellers will be able to switch to another date or tour, or opt for a full cash refund that will be processed within 14 days.

The policy also includes Titan?s ?49 Flexi Deposit, available on all new client bookings made before March 1, 2021. Titan?s Flexi-deposit policy provides clients with unlimited booking changes at no extra cost until 75 days prior to departure.

Andy Squirrell, managing director, Titan Travel, said, ?We understand the concerns some travellers have expressed, before their upcoming holidays, due to the coronavirus outbreak. Keeping their situation in mind, Titan has decided to restart all operations from February 1 next year. We hope to provide travellers and our trade partners with clarity and reassurance, by not cancelling our tours at a short notice but providing the affected parties with a choice of next steps, in advance, to find the best solution.?

?We have received a phenomenal response from customers who have utilised the Peace of Mind policy, and wish to thank everyone for their continued support. It is evident that there is a strong demand for travel, as 2021 departures are selling fast,? he added.

Titan will continue to monitor the situation closely until operations resume and will keep all agents updated on the status of their client?s holiday alongside the latest health and safety protocols on its tours.
