To break from the traditional coach tour, the new ‘Direct-Route Mini-Breaks’ collection features three-day journeys with limited stops along the way, allowing travellers to get the most out of a destination
The new breaks are featured within the latest ‘Discover the Best of the UK & Ireland’ brochure, offering a category choice of Weekend Away; Short Midweek Stays; Music & Theatre Breaks and Event Getaways.
The Weekends Away and Short Midweek Stays both feature shorter durations of Shearings’ classic tours. All itineraries include coach travel, accommodation, breakfast and evening meals and an included excursion. Prices lead in from £199 per person for the three-day ‘Angels of the North to Coastal Treasures: A Northumbrian Coast Weekend’ itinerary.
The 10 Event Getaways include airshows, festivals and fairs including BBC Gardener’s World Live, the Blackpool Airshow and the Great Yorkshire Show. Transfers, accommodations, tickets and meals are included within the tours. Prices start from £199 per person for the three-day ‘English Riviera Airshow: Sky-High Spectacle’.
The Music & Theatre Breaks feature a variety of show stopping numbers including TINA: The Tina Turner Musical with shows in Liverpool and Manchester; André Rieu in Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester and Liverpool; and ABBA Voyage in London. Prices lead in from £299 per person for the three-day ‘ABBA Voyage: A Night of Pop Hits’ tour.
