The Travel Network Group launched an initiative for its members to join bi-monthly video conference calls, to offer them further support.
Stephanie Slark, director of membership services at The Travel Network Group, said: ?We know that our members have been under a huge amount of stress this past month, dealing with many holiday amendments and cancellation requests from their customers, team furloughs and cash flow planning for their businesses. After successfully hosting a few regional meetings with our Members, we got this idea as they found it beneficial to see and listen to each other on the calls.?
Slark added: ?These video calls are a great way to allow our members to talk to each other and know that they are not alone going through this ? our team is here, as well as fellow Members.?
The topics that are being discussed on the calls range from members? conversations with their customers on refunds or credit notes to chargebacks, applications for cash grants or loans, staff furlough and soft marketing needs.
?We?re getting honest feedback from our Members about their day-to-day in their businesses, and overall, they are reporting positive results in rebooking their customers? holidays, with some of these customers looking at 2021 offers?, concluded Slark.
To get the best outcome of the video calls, TTNG are inviting a maximum of 20 Members per call, either belonging to existing regions or TTA, Worldchoice and Independent Travel Experts Members.
