A Covid-19 test or quarantine on arrival is no longer required to travellers visiting the island group.
As of March 14, 2022, pre-flight and post-arrival testing and quarantine is no longer a prequisite when travelling to the Maldives.
The easing of restrictions is valid for both vaccinated and unvaccinated arrivals, with no proof of vaccination required for entry.
No restrictions are imposed on specific countries, but wearing a face mask is still required in all health facilities and in outbreak areas, and recommended in crowded areas and on public transport.
Emilio Fortini, general manager at Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa said: ?We are really pleased with the easing of travel restrictions for vaccinated travellers. As international travel continues to return to normal, the team at Sheraton Maldives is very much looking forward to more visitors arriving.?
