The coast is clear for Los Cabos: New flight brings in visitors to top Mexican resort

With the Mexican border open again, Los Cabos Tourism Board is promoting its direct flight from New York to the tip of Baja California.

The Eastern Airlines flight, which launched in August from JFK International Airport to Cabo San Lucas, departs twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The route takes 5 hour 30 minutes with aerial views of the peninsula?s rocky landscape and beaches on arrival.

Los Cabos reopened to tourists in June with the Safety stamp issued by The World Travel & Tourism Council. It is also the first destination in Mexico to implement the CSFCrystal standards, which offer destination assurance and audits every two weeks.

The tropical desert - coined because of its famous cactus trees - offers holidaymakers beach breaks perfect for families. There is plenty of outdoor activities and adventure to keep busy with the calm warm waters of the Sea of Cortez on one side and the wild waves of the Pacific Ocean on the other.

There are no air travel restrictions to Mexico. There is no quarantine on arrival and no negative PCR test required on entry.
