Teesside International Airport has revealed plans of making a brand-new Sky Bar and viewing platform, to give passengers a new space for spotting planes.
The new development will replace the old outdoor viewing platform, located at ground level beside the terminal building, which has remained closed for many years.
The Sky Bar and platform will be located across two floors in the landside area of the airport, with a welcome space on the ground floor and bar and platform above, occupying space currently used as offices.
Visitors will be able to access the platform without having to pass through to departure. Like Landside Caf?, everyone will be able to take advantage of the modern and contemporary area whether flying or not.
Work will begin before the end of the year, with it due to be opened for next year?s summer season.
