Taylor Swift's trip down under fuelling AUS$130 million boost

Swifties from across the world have descended onto the city to welcome the arrival of global sensation Taylor Swift as she is set to take to the stage for her highly-anticipated Eras Tour from February 23rd to 26th.

320,000 fans are expected to attend the concert over the four days, with Allianz Stadium, SCG, CommBank Stadium and Accor Stadium descending into a Lavender Haze to signify the occasion.

Establishments across the city, from cafes to bars to Sydney Harbour prove they will never go out of style by hosting a series of special events to celebrate. After-parties, brunches and even jet ski sing-alongs have taken over Sydney, making the city the ultimate Swiftie destination.

The Eras Tour is not only on its way to becoming the highest-grossing tour of all–time and an all-out musical extravaganza, it is also providing a significant boost to Sydney’s tourism economy. With an anticipated influx of more than 100,000 international visitors, Destination NSW estimates more than AUS$80 million in visitor spending will come into the city. On a broader scale, the city’s economy is expected to receive an AUS$130 million boost.
