Star Clippers partners with Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc.

The specialist cruise line has announced details of the quarterly initiative in conjunction with BTMI.

The details include homeworker training events, a Hays takeover day and an invitation to a Christmas Soiree at London’s Covent Hotel.

Brunch and lunch trainings are taking place throughout October for homeworkers, as well as a takeover day at Hays HQ where over 75 staff will spend the day with representatives from Star Clippers, BTMI and Sandals.

The spotlight initiative was launched in April to focus on the cruise line’s most popular destinations by teaming up with tourist boards and offering agents the opportunity to educate themselves further on the product and locations. Previous focuses have been on St Maarten and Italy, where hundreds of agents attended events and trainings across the country.
