The Kent-based villa specialist has added Hays Travel and Independent Travel Experts (The Travel Network Groups homeworking division) to its distribution network, along with a new trade & business support manager to its sales team.
The expansion means SPL Villas' 1,500-strong property portfolio is now bookable across Hays' and ITE's growing networks.
In support of the relatively rapid trade growth since earning ATOL certification in late 2023, travel mainstay Mike Lee is set to join Anne Clays and Sarah Gill in the provider's trade & business support management team.
Edward Frampton-Fell, managing director, revealed that SPL plans to grow the number of agents booking in 2024, adding that the team is "confident that those from Hays and ITE will be excited by the value, quality, and variety of our villas, as well as the reassurance offered by our ATOL and ABTOT membership."
Trade bookings represented a third of bookings taken by SPL Villas in 2023.
