32 agents voyaged aboard Celestyal Journey as it docked in Doha ahead of the cruise line's inaugural Arabian Gulf season, with two specially-themed F1 voyages kicking off the programme this month
The celebratory 'super fam' blended a three-night land stay (including a trip to Arabian Travel Market) and two days aboard the ship in Doha. Select guests opted to attend the Qatar Grand Prix, hosted by Formula 1 driver David Coulthard and presenter Laura Winter. All agents walked away with a free 'Desert Days' credit to experience the full voyage.
On board, Celestyal hosted guests from Visit Qatar, Qatar Airways and the Mwani Port Authority for presentations, a tour, a plaque exchange and a celebratory lunch.
Celestyal Journey is now due to depart on a range of seven-night 'Desert Days' roundtrip voyages from Doha until March 2025.
Lee Haslett, Celestyal's chief commercial officer who teased the fam and future trade developments at WTM last month, said, "We are confident that our special F1-themed cruises will ensure we have a roaring start to the season, while the Desert Days itinerary offers the very best of the local region. Whether guests are familiar with the destinations we visit or are sampling them for the first time, there will be a wealth of authentic experiences available to everyone."
Celestyal recently streamlined its onboard food and beverage tiers, inviting guests to pre-load an onboard spend wallet.
