Spanish Tourist Office confirms 2024 Sustainability Day

The offices director says the day hopes to "create important discourse on balancing different aspects of sustainability", inviting agents to network and hear the latest developments about what is under the sustainability spotlight in Spain.

Following the Star Award-nominated inaugural edition of the event last year, the Spanish Tourist Office (UK) has confirmed the event will return this year, taking place at The Conduit, London on April 17th, 2024.

A range of professionals from both Spain and the UK will join the Office to debate and uncover the ongoing sustainable challenges facing tourism.

Following the event, Spain's Sustainable Media Awards will take place, celebrating the best published works highlighting eco-initiatives in Spain.

Manuel Butler, the Office's director, said he was "delighted to announce (the event)... following the success of the inaugural event last year."

On the speaker and topic lineup for 2024, Manuel added: "As well as discussing the relationship tourism has with local environments and climate change, we will also address social sustainability from an inclusivity and accessibility standpoint as part of our Spain For All campaign."
