Solo soars as Riviera announces largest-ever programme for 2026

The 2026 programme will be the operator’s largest solo offering to date, including five new itineraries due to customer demand

For the cruisers, Riviera will offer 12 dedicated solo itineraries, including an eight-day ‘Medieval Germany for solo travellers’ option where guests will take in the historic Mainz, Würzburg, Rothenburg, Miltenberg, Wertheim, Bamberg and Nuremberg from £3,249 per person.

The 2026 long-haul escorted tour programme will consist of 14 solo itineraries, with four new tours to choose from. The new departures include the 11-day ‘Maritime Canada for solo travellers’ from £4,999 per person and the 13-day ‘Costa Rica for solo travellers’ from £5,999 per person.

Will Sarson, product director at Riviera, said, “Our customer feedback scores for our solo departures are among some of the highest in our business and we know guests love to come back and try more itineraries. Every Riviera holiday offers the opportunity for those travelling alone to explore a host of charming destinations with like-minded people, in a welcoming and inclusive environment.”

Alongside the new offering, Riviera is running an incentive where agents can secure £50 for all European 2026 river cruises booked by October 31st, 2024.
